I am Father Kingsley Ihejirika, the administrator of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. My journey as a priest began in Nigeria, where I completed my training before pursuing graduate studies in Rome. In the Eternal City, I earned Master's degrees in Theology, Philosophy, Bioethics, and Religious Education from the Pontifical Urban University and The Pontifical Regina Apostolorum Universities. Moreover, I hold a doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Urban University.

Following my studies in Rome, I received an invitation to serve in the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut, where I dedicated a decade of my life. During this time, I took on various roles, including serving as the administrator of Saint Justin and Saint Michael Parish for a remarkable four years. While overseeing this parish, I pursued further education and obtained my fifth Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University in Virginia, USA.

In the summer of 2022, I joined the diocese of Springfield, where I initially served at Holy Name Parish in Springfield for a brief three-month period before my appointment as the administrator of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.

On a personal note, I am the fifth of five siblings, with three brothers residing in Pennsylvania and a sister living in Nigeria. My brothers include two university professors and a successful business owner, while my sister is employed by the state in Nigeria. Amongst my five siblings, I am blessed with 14 nephews and nieces, as well as five grand nephews and nieces, many of whom have pursued careers in fields such as medicine, law, pharmacy, and nursing. Remarkably, one of them is currently in her second year at Harvard Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.

In addition to my pastoral work, I am the founder of the Divine Mercy International Widows Organization (DMIWOO), an organization with a core mission of providing care and support to impoverished widows and vulnerable orphans.

Furthermore, I am the author of the book titled "Reawakening Hope: The Mission of A Motherless Child,". In this deeply personal work, I candidly share my experiences growing up as a motherless child in a remote Nigerian village. Within its pages, I also discuss the mental health challenges I faced and how these trials played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today.

It is a profound honor for me to serve as your priest and be a part of your spiritual journey.
